Fodele is setting up in the 25^th km of the National Road Heraklion Rethymno. In the area are planted all over lemon and orange trees and there is a river which crosses the village and ends up in two very clean picturesque beaches. The area in the river banks is a real oasis of freshness and relaxation. The bust of El Greco in the central square relates the great Cretan Painter with his country and awakes memories in recreational displays.

In Fodele beach, with the endless strand and view to the sea, are constructed detached houses in the traditional architecture form of Crete, of 100m² and more with private swimming pool, garden, heating and air conditioning.
