On Friday, Paul Duggan, a money manager from Chicago’s Beverly community, will square off against Hugh Jackman. Lots of Southland theaters will show “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” the new installment in the X-Men franchise. If you want to see the movie Duggan executive produced, “The Merry Gentleman,” also out Friday, you’ll have to drive a bit.
